Numerous airlines are offering cheap flights for summer travel through early June.  Some airlines are even offering an early Fall airfare sale for those who really want to starting planning.

Southwest Airlines, AirTran, Virgin America, and JetBlue have kicked off summer and fall airfares with some great deals. Southwest, AirTran, and JetBlue have some early summer flights for travel through late June for as low as $69 on Southwest and AirTran and $39 on JetBlue (all prices one way).

A number of airlines (American, United, Continental, Frontier) still have Spring travel deals on sale through early to mid June. Even if you aren’t ready for summer, you can still find some cheap flights for Spring starting in April through mid June.

Airfares aren’t the only thing on sale right now. Many sites have launched vacation package sales so if you are looking for a travel deal, the time to start planning that summer vacation is now.

    I didn’t know that the first day of spring usually brings summer flight deals. Good to know! We just booked a decent price to Europe for May. Flying straight from San Diego! I’m so happy we don’t have to go to LAX.
