Budget travel deals of the weekSummer is officially here and I can’t wait to start traveling.  Summer vacations are booked and it’s time to find some great travel deals for the summer.  While there are a number of travel deals on cruises, hotels, and more, this week means a huge airfare sale for a number of airlines with airfares as low as $40 each way?

What is driving this Fall airfare sale as we officially begin summer travel this week?  Southwest Airlines celebrates their 40th anniversary with a huge airfare sale – and a number of airlines are joining their celebration by matching these sales.  These truly are cheap flights for summer and Fall travel!

While airfares will be the big focus this week, don’t miss my travel deals of the week with many deals still going on.

$40, $80, $120 airfare for Fall travel

Southwest celebrates their 40th anniversary with 3 days of deals - For flights 0 – 450 miles, pay $40 each way.  For flights 451 miles to 1250 miles, flights are $80 each way.  For flights greater than 1251 miles, pay $120 each way.  Book your flights by June 23 and fly August 23 – November 16.  Black out dates apply and travel is valid for every day except Fridays and Sundays.  Get more information and airfares with the Southwest Airlines 40th anniversary airfare sale.

Alaska Airlines summer airfare sale - Alaska Airlines is matching these airfare sales on Southwest with $40, $80, and $120 flights from cities like Seattle, Portland Sacramento, Spokane, San Francisco, and more.  Purchase your flight by June 23 and fly September 6 – November 16.  Get more information and airfares on Alaska Airlines summer airfare sale.

American Airlines Fall airfare sale - American Airlines joins the airfare sale party with cheap flights for Fall travel for as low as $40 each way.  Purchase by June 23 and fly August 23 through November 16.  Black out dates apply and travel is valid every day but Fridays and Sundays.  Get more information and airfares at the American Airlines Fall airfare sale.

Delta Airlines airfare sale to the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico - Purchase flights by June 27 for $159 – $269 each way.  Travel dates vary by destination but 14 days advanced purchase required as well as 3 days minimum stay.  Find out more on Delta’s airfare sale.
